Castrol Optigear BM 68 is a premium mineral-based gear oil designed for use under demanding mechanical load and dynamic conditions. Featuring advanced Microflux Trans (MFT) Plastic Deformation (PD) technology, this lubricant smoothens microscopic surface asperities without abrasive wear, significantly reducing friction and enhancing gearbox durability.
Application:
Castrol Optigear BM 68 is suitable for enclosed industrial gear systems and bearings operating under medium to high loads. It is also recommended for use as slideway oil—subject to prior compatibility checks with metalworking fluids. Perfect for gearboxes exposed to micro-pitting, vibration, low-speed operation, and shock loading.
