Castrol Alpha EP 46 is a zinc-free, high-performance mineral-based gear oil that exceeds the requirements of DIN 51517-3 CLP standard. It is formulated to provide superior wear protection, excellent oxidation stability, and reliable lubrication under demanding operating conditions.
Application:
Castrol Alpha EP 46 is recommended for the lubrication of all types of industrial enclosed gear drives, including spur, helical and worm gears. It is also suitable for use in hydrodynamic couplings and certain hydraulic systems. Ideal for applications requiring high load-carrying capability, reliable wear protection, and stable performance at elevated temperatures.
