Castrol Brayco 589 is a high-quality, light amber coloured, inhibited synthetic ester-based gas turbine lubricating and preservative oil designed for lubrication, preservation and long-term corrosion protection of aircraft gas turbine engines. The product is primarily formulated for the preservation of turboprop and turbojet engines designed to operate with MIL-PRF-7808 type oils. Its specialised formulation provides effective corrosion protection during storage while also allowing limited use as an aircraft engine lubricant during final acceptance runs and short-term engine operation.
