Castrol Braycote 601 EF is a high-performance premium grease based on perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base oil and special PTFE thickener. The product was developed to work in the most demanding conditions such as high vacuum, contact with rocket fuels and oxidizers, and extremely low and high temperatures. The grease is distinguished by its unique chemical resistance, very low volatileness and excellent anti-rosion and anti-usage protection, making it used in aviation, space technology and advanced industrial applications.

Application:

Castrol Braycote 601 EF is designed to lubricate ball and roller bearings, gearboxes, precision mechanisms and assembly elements made of O-ring elastomers and seals. The product was designed to work in the presence of rocket fuels, oxidizers and in high vacuum conditions. It is commonly used in satellites, spacecraft, ancillary aviation systems and wherever aggressive environments or extreme conditions prevent the use of standard lubricants.

Storage:
Store in original, tightly closed containers in a clean and dry place. Prior to application, surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with residues of other lubricants and corrosion inhibitors. The grease has a very long storage life thanks to the chemical indifference of the PFPE base.
