white assembly paste resistant to water and aggressive chemicals

Castrol Molub-Alloy Paste MP 3 is a high-performance assembly paste containing solid lubricating additives, designed for long-term or lifetime lubrication in extreme mechanical and chemical conditions. Formerly known as Optimol Paste MP 3, this product offers excellent wear protection, outstanding water and chemical resistance, and reliable operation across a wide temperature range.

Applications:

Castrol Molub-Alloy Paste MP 3 is recommended for:

  • lubrication points exposed to aggressive environmental or chemical conditions,
  • equipment in the chemical and processing industries,
  • automotive applications such as door guides and hinges,
  • long-term and lifetime lubrication of machine components.

Operating temperature range: -35°C to +180°C.

Advantages and benefits:

  • High chemical resistance: protects against acids, alkalis, and cleaning agents.
  • Water resistance: performs reliably in the presence of cold and hot water.
  • Material compatibility: safe for use with elastomers.
  • Wear protection: reduces friction and prevents fretting wear.
  • Load carrying capacity: suitable for components under heavy mechanical loads.
  • Vibration damping: reduces noise and mechanical vibration.
  • Excellent adhesion: adheres strongly to surfaces for long-lasting performance.
  • Corrosion protection: shields metal parts from rust and oxidation.

Classification according to standards:

  • DIN 51818: NLGI Grade 3
