Castrol Optigear RMO is a multi-purpose, high-performance gear oil designed to operate in extreme conditions. Castrol's unique Microflux Trans (MFT) Plastic Deformation (PD) formulation provides excellent protection against frictional wear and also allows the micro-unevenness of the gear surface to be smoothed without causing excessive wear. It is the ideal solution for transmissions in rail vehicles and construction machinery, operating in a wide temperature range, from -40°C without the need for preheating.

Castrol Optigear RMO is designed for all types of spur and bevel gears, including hypoid gears, operating under varying and extreme loads. It is ideal for high speed applications and immersion, spray and mist lubrication systems. Its unique properties make it a reliable choice for the railway, construction and heavy machinery industries.
