Eastman Turbo Oil 2389
synthetic oil for air gas turbines and APU units
Eastman Turbo Oil 2389 is a high-quality synthetic air oil with a viscosity of 3 cSt, designed to lubricate gas turbines and auxiliary APU drive units (Auxiliary Power Unit). The product was developed using advanced synthetic base oils and modern refining additives, providing exceptional thermal and oxidative stability, excellent fluidity at very low temperatures and high load resistance. Thanks to reliable operation during cold start, it is widely used by commercial airlines around the world.
Application:
Eastman Turbo Oil 2389 is designed to lubricate air gas turbines and auxiliary APU drive units used in civil and military aircraft. The product is fully authorised for use in all APU Honeywell and UTC Aerospace Systems units requiring oil meeting the MIL-PRF-7808 Grade 3 standard. It works perfectly during start-ups after a long stop at low temperatures and during operation under demanding operating conditions.
Advantages and benefits of:
- Exceptional fluidity at low temperatures: ensure reliable start even after long cooling at high altitudes.
- High thermal and oxidative stability: reduces sediment formation and prolongs oil life.
- Low viscosity 3 cSt: allows quick lubrication of elements during startup.
- High load resistance: ensure effective protection of elements working under high pressure.
- Excellent anti-use protection: reduces the wear of bearings and turbine components.
- Very good foam resistance: guarantees a stable lubricant film during operation.
- Corrosion protection: effectively protects components made of various metal alloys.
- High reliability: used by leading manufacturers and air operators worldwide.
Classification by standard:
- MIL-PRF-7808 – Grade 3
Approvals and approvals:
- Full approval for all APU Honeywell units.
- Full approval to all UTC Aerospace Systems APU units.
- Qualified oil according to MIL-PRF-7808 Grade 3.
