mineral oil-based corrosion preventative lubricant for aircraft turbine engines and fuel systems

ROYCO® 481 is a mineral oil-based lubricant formulated with modern additive technology to provide effective oxidation and corrosion protection together with a high viscosity index for excellent low- and high-temperature fluidity. Designed for aircraft turbine applications, it can be used for lubrication of gas turbine engine components and as a flushing and preservative fluid for aircraft fuel systems. ROYCO 481 is also approved as a P-10 preservative under MIL-STD-2073-1C.

Applications:

ROYCO 481 is recommended for the lubrication of gas turbine engine components and for use as a flushing and preservative fluid in aircraft fuel systems and their components. Its high viscosity index supports operation over a wide temperature range in high-speed turbines and gas turbine engines. The product may also be considered as the primary turbine engine lubricant in many aircraft turbine engines designed to operate with mineral oil-based lubricants.

ROYCO 481 is a mineral oil-based lubricant and corrosion preventative for aircraft turbine engines and fuel systems. Qualified to MIL-PRF-6081D Amendment 1 Grades 1010 and 1010N and approved as a P-10 preservative under MIL-STD-2073-1C, it provides effective corrosion protection and excellent low-temperature fluidity.
