Castrol Molub-Alloy Paste TA, 1KG

Castrol Molub-Alloy Paste TA is a high-performance assembly paste designed to protect bolted and metal joints against sticking, corrosion and scale under extreme temperature conditions up to 1100°C. Using an inorganic thickener and thermally stable lubricants, the paste provides easy disassembly, effective sealing and protection of surfaces exposed to aggressive media and changing environmental conditions.

Use:

The product is dedicated to the assembly and lubrication of screws, sleeves, valves, flange and pipe connections, gaskets, glands and other metal elements, including light metal and steel connections. Also recommended for sliding surfaces exposed to high thermal loads. Operating temperature range: -40°C to 1100°C.

• DIN ISO 2137 – Working penetration (60 cycles): 295–310 (0.1 mm)
• DIN 51757 – Density at 20°C: 1340 kg/m³
• DIN 51807 T.1 – Water resistance at 90°C: Grade 1–2
• DIN 51805 – Flow pressure at +20 °C: 45 hPa, at -20 °C: 700 hPa

Approvals and approvals:
The formula is based on an inorganic thickener and thermally stable solids. The product does not contain heavy metals. Intended for use as assembly paste only – cannot be used as a substitute for oil or grease. Also available in aerosol version as Molub-Alloy Paste TA Spray.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, in a tightly closed container, away from sources of heat and sunlight. Do not allow freezing.
